New Business Account Manager

Salary Depending on Experience (£45,000 OTE)

The role of the New Business Account Manager itself holds a vital place in our vast plans, contacting businesses and ultimately winning business, along with offering the 5* customer service experience.

The Role of the New Business Account Manager:

  • Contacting new SME business customers to promote our fantastic energy packages
  • Using a consultative sales approach, you will get to know your customers and understand the needs of their business
  • Bringing in new business whilst adding value to their existing portfolio by delivering exceptional service and competitive deals
  • To achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets and Key Performance Indicators
  • To adhere to the sales compliance rules always ensuring all sales are generated in line with United Gas & Power’s guidelines and quality standards
  • Handling of general client queries about their utilities, providing relevant recommendations and working on their behalf to solve issues

The Profile of the Successful New Business Account Manager:

  • Experience within the B2B energy sector.
  • Demonstrable experience in outbound sales
  • Team player, willing to share ideas and techniques with other team colleagues
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage calls, maintain records and notes
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a good telephone manner
  • Excellent Sales and negotiation skills
  • Strong IT Skills e.g. CRM / Data Management / Excel
