He has been able to reduce our internal energy workload significantly and has had a direct impact on our bottom line costings for the business. We do cross-check the prices offered by UGP on every contract to ensure we continue to get great value, and we have not moved any site to date in the last 3 years.
Our Account Manager, who is in contact with us throughout the year, offers us advice on current energy market trends and the potential impact that market conditions might have on our business. This is markedly different to other suppliers who would simply send out a letter at the point of renewal that stated drastically higher costs. We’d then be given such a short period of time to terminate the renewal that it was unrealistic for us to review the market for a better deal.”
