Business Change Analyst

As one of the fastest growing and highest rated commercial energy suppliers in the UK, we are looking to recruit an experienced solution orientated Business Change Analyst who will deliver efficiencies and value, based at our state-of-the-art offices in Guiseley, Leeds.

The Business Change Analyst role is an excellent opportunity to get your teeth stuck into the energy industry where you will be exposed to various aspects of our business and be a key part of our internal growth. The successful candidate should ideally have a strong knowledge of the UK Gas & Electricity markets and be able to work with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Manage and deliver Business Change projects covering new systems and processes, and changes to existing systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain operational process maps and detailed work instructions.
  • Develop business cases to support proposals for new solutions.
  • Prepare and orchestrate workshops to explore ways to improve business processes.
  • Investigate operational problems and processes, evaluate options and propose solutions.
  • Produce specifications and raise Change Requests to support process and system change.
  • Prepare User Acceptance Test strategies and plans.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing working closely with SMEs and key users.
  • Measure the effectiveness of Business Change and support a culture of continuous improvement.

The Individual 

  • Prince2 qualification preferred
  • Qualification in appropriate LEAN methodologies such as Six Sigma preferred
  • A full understanding of the UK Gas and Electricity markets
  • Experience of Ensek’s Ignition platform, or equivalent products
  • An analytical and inquisitive mind
  • A methodical and structured approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communicator – verbal and written
  • A logical thought process to resolve queries and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own, demonstrating drive and initiative
  • Team player, willing to share ideas and techniques with other team colleagues to improve the business
  • The ability to be self-motivated and focused on continually achieving and exceeding targets
