Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall content marketing plan in line with the marketing strategy.
  • Create, manage, and publish content across various platforms including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and social media channels.
  • Manage and grow social media presence, engage with the audience, and foster community engagement.
  • Collaborate with the graphic designer to create visually appealing content.
  • Write compelling and high-quality copy for various platforms, including the website, emails, and ads.
  • Create and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content.
  • Coordinate with the Head of Marketing, the wider marketing team, and other departments to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content marketing and social media.
  • Analyse content performance and optimise strategies accordingly using analytics tools.
  • Ensure that all content activities are aligned with the company's objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase website traffic and generate sales leads.
  • Manage the organic performance of the website, using best practices in SEO.

The Individual

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a content marketing role, either in-house or agency.
  • Experience of B2B marketing within a similar industry, or industry with similar challenges.
  • In-depth understanding of content marketing channels and strategies.
  • Experience with content management systems and social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to implement them in content creation.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a strong portfolio of published content.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple content initiatives simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative content marketing campaigns.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Driven to achieve results and exceed targets.
  • A thirst for innovation and a desire to explore new and exciting ways to use technology to support content generation.
