OVERVIEW

As one of the fastest growing and highest rated commercial energy suppliers in the UK, we are looking to recruit a Key Account Executive, based at our state-of-the-art offices in Guiseley, Leeds.

As the Key Account Sales function develops, this key appointment will contribute to driving the company forward through the generation of new leads and opportunities. This driven and creative individual will work closely with the department head to find new and innovative ways to attract business from some of the UK’s highest consuming clients. This is a unique opportunity which will give the successful candidate the ability to grow and progress within the business and develop their knowledge to a high standard.

As the role develops, so will you. You will play an active role in the on-boarding of new clients and assist with management reporting. Playing a vital role in UGP achieving key performance indicators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and develop a pipeline, primarily focused on high consuming and multi-site businesses
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns to ensure maximum opportunities are created from outbound advertising
  • Canvass new opportunities and generate interest
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to cold call potential clients with confidence are key
  • Use skills and knowledge of the company and its competitors to consistently identify opportunities to maximise sales potential.
