The Metering & Reads Analyst is responsible for the day to day supply point administration on the gas and power portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordination and management of third party agents – MAM,MAP,MOP,DC,DA, MRA
  • Managing the read dispute process including raising and chasing SAR’s and D300’s
  • Responsibility of ensuring industry and customer reads are used for billing and settlement purposes
  • Monitoring the quality of customer and industry reads, taking the appropriate action where necessary to correct any erroneous data
  • Ensuring the accuracy of address data on CRM & update with third parties where necessary
  • Communicating successfully with a myriad of third parties to manage the data flows within the industry, smart meter installations, and query resolution
  • Ensuring continued self-motivation is maintained and that all Key Performance Indicators are focused on to drive quality and improvements in all aspects of the hub process
  • Using industry databases in conjunction with our CRM for meter exchange / De-appointments / Disconnections and new connections
  • Creating, reviewing and updating processes and documentation as required
  • Support and coaching for new and existing team members
  • Supporting the siteworks process, partnering with our third parties to resolve metering issues
  • Creating performance reports for management when required
  • Work with and support other internal teams where necessary

Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to manage high workloads and balance priorities
  • Ambitious character with a drive to achieve target.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Desire to learn new skills

Qualifications/experience required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role essential
  • Industry experience desired but not essential
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent experience desirable
