New Connections Manager

As one of the fastest growing and highest rated commercial energy suppliers in the UK, we are looking to recruit a New Connections Manager, based at our state-of-the-art offices in Guiseley, Leeds.

As the New Connections proposition develops, this key appointment will contribute to driving the company forward through the generation of new leads and opportunities. This is a unique opportunity which will give the successful candidate the ability to grow and progress within the business and develop their knowledge to a high standard.

As the role develops, so will you. You will assist with management reporting and play a vital role in UGP achieving key performance indicators.

  • Deliver personal and team sales targets.
  • Negotiate gas and power supply contracts.
  • Develop, establish, and sell new connections proposition for gas and power.
  • Perform Site Audits in relation to new connection opportunities.
  • Proactively develop and improve propositions (both products and services) in conjunction with Partner and Customer requirements.
  • Identify, build, and deliver strong relationships with Partners, understanding their needs to achieve set targets.
  • Thorough understanding of the B2B New Connections Market, targeting those Partners that can deliver growth to UGP.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with industry Third Parties (MOPs, DC/DA, DNO, etc) to support the delivery of services and sales targets.
  • Grow a team to support the strategic delivery of services and proposition to Partners and Customers.
  • Assisting the recruitment process, to source the right level of expertise to create and support growth plans for the New Connections Sales team.
  • Experience within the B2B energy sector essential.
  • Experience within Gas and Power New Connections essential.
  • Experience within the TPI market highly desirable.
