OVERVIEW

As one of the fastest growing and highest rated commercial energy suppliers in the UK, we are looking to recruit an experienced Portfolio Manager, based at our state-of-the-art offices in Guiseley, Leeds.

The Portfolio Manager is a newly created position requiring an experienced individual capable of helping to define and shape the role and “make it their own”, within the commercial team. The Portfolio Manager will create and maintain the customer datasets to enhance, report and optimise the portfolio, ensuring that accurate real time information is used to make strategic decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Create and maintain multi stream output for several commercial functions within the business.
  • Responsible for the design of a sophisticated data hub for all commercial tasks.
  • Develop effective stakeholder relationships to support the Portfolio Manager role.
  • Working alongside the sales and trading teams to develop and build advanced campaign models.
  • Propose new ways of enhancing capabilities.
  • Deputise for senior management when required.
  • Reporting for the Company accounts function.
  • Own and distribute portfolio information.
  • Provide reporting to Senior Manager and internal trading teams.
  • Financial reporting for budget creation.
  • Required to make autonomous decisions, and report back to Head’s of department.

THE INDIVIDUAL

Essential

  • At least 2 years’ experience in portfolio management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities
  • Proactive and self-motivated team player
  • Energy experience

Desirable

  • B2B energy experience
  • Educated to a degree level
