Central Switching Outage July 2023
An industry-wide failure occurred within the Central Switching Service (CSS) on 7th July 2023. As a result, switches that were due to complete on that date did not complete.
No action is required from customers at this time. We are working with the Data Communications Company (DCC), who are responsible for the CSS, and other energy suppliers to explore potential solutions. DCC has provided us with a list of affected customers, and once a resolution is in place, we will do everything we can to preserve the original switch dates.
